If you do not own a cargo bike, but would like the benefits of a large front rack , you can choose this front wooden box from Velorbis.

This high front woodbox weighs no more than 3,4 kg, but can hold a cargo load up to 40 kg. The design and mounting of the wood crate directly on the bicycle frame and not the handlebars, mean that the cycle does not become difficult to manoeuvre – even when it is heavily loaded. The front crate is made of aluminum and the base and two high sides has been fitted with exclusive wood panels. The front crate high basket is made in jet black (RAL 9005) colour.

Note: Can also be obtained in a version with low side panes.
