We have fitted puncture-protected semi-balloon tires with integrated reflectors from the German manufacturer Schwalbe. The Short John Gents cargo bike has a maintenance-free Shimano Nexus 7-speed internal gear hub with a built-in freewheel and roller brake (2 hand brakes on the handlebars). The cargo bike also has a built-in maintenance-free drum brake in the front wheel, so you have maintenance-free built-in quality brakes on both wheels.

The front and rear lights are designed in pure retro style with LED technology and a maintenance-free dynamo as the power source. They feature integrated parking lights, so your bike remains illuminated even when stationary. Power for the LED front and rear lights is generated through induction inside the front hub dynamo, meaning the electricity is completely free of charge. Remember – always ride with your lights on for your own safety.

An excellent little brass bell signals to your surroundings that here comes the majesty of the cycle path. Of course, an insurance-approved frame lock from Velorbis (YWS) is also included.

The cargo bike has a complete leather package, including leather grips, a handmade, iconic leather comfort saddle from Velorbis that just gets better and better with time, and a matching leather mudflap.
