The Velorbis e-bikes come with two specially shaped 36V Li-ion batteries with a total capacity of 1000 Wh (2 x 500 Wh), offering a range of up to 150 km. The batteries are housed in exclusive leather bags and can be locked to the bike or easily removed for charging. They can also be charged while mounted on the bike and take 3.5 hours for a full charge with the included chargers. If you choose the 2 x 500 Wh batteries, they must be mounted on the rear rack.

Details

The Li-ion battery is specially shaped to fit into our specially developed exclusive battery bag made of genuine leather, which matches the other leather components of the e-bike. The Velorbis battery is 36V, has a capacity of 500 Wh or 14.6 Ah (range of up to 75 km on a single charge), and is based on modern lithium-ion technology. The battery can be locked on the bike with the included combination wire lock for quick shopping, but it can also be easily removed and charged. Please note that the battery can also be charged while on the bike. The battery charges from 0-100% within 3.5 hours with the 3 AH charger. If you want to double the range, buy 2 x 500Wh batteries and mount them on both sides of the luggage carrier. This increases the range (under optimal conditions) to an incredible 150+ km on a single charge.

If you have our older stainless steel bottle battery, Velorbis ePower360, the new battery in the leather bag can be retrofitted to your current e-bike, increasing your range by 40%.
